VC is one of the few places I can go near campus that doesn't make me feel like I'm supposed to be a hipster-poseur 18 year-old trailing my parents' money out of my back pockets. And, Elizabeth points out, it's one of the key businesses that make it possible for students who live on central campus to survive without cars.
